Part 2 - Statement

Introduction:

I want to make their beloved pet be on their phone screen, so even if they are far away, they can still feel close and connected to their pets.

What is the concept behind it?

The concept behind my work is to bring comfort and emotional connection through digital visuals. Many people have a deep bond with their pets, and seeing them regularly, even on a phone screen, can bring joy. I designed a cheerful pet wallpaper that gives the feeling that the pet is always with the owner, no matter the distance.

What is the message you want to people to understand it?

I want people to understand that technology can help maintain emotional bonds. This wallpaper reminds users that their pets are part of their daily lives, even if they’re physically apart. It’s a small but meaningful way to reduce the feeling of missing a loved animal companion.

What is your motto?

“Close at heart, even from afar.”

Reflection
Creating this video design was a valuable and insightful experience. It allowed me to explore the dynamic relationship between visual elements, timing, and storytelling. Throughout the process, I focused not only on the aesthetic appeal but also on how movement and transitions could effectively convey the intended message.

One of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects was achieving smooth motion and maintaining visual consistency across frames. I experimented with pacing, layering effects, and syncing visuals to the mood I wanted to express. This pushed me to pay close attention to detail—ensuring every frame contributed to the overall tone and theme.

After reviewing the final output, I am satisfied with how the elements come together to form a cohesive visual piece. It reflects both my technical growth and creative direction. However, I also noticed areas where I could improve—especially in refining transitions and experimenting with more advanced animation techniques to add depth and impact.

Overall, this project has deepened my understanding of motion design and strengthened my confidence in using video as a medium for creative expression.
